Tapestry on a Cardboard Box

October Learning Tree: Tapestry on a Cardboard Box

We will be weaving small bags (or flat pouches if you prefer) on looms made from cardboard.

Amy will provide:

 – tapestry needle

 – warp yarn

 – painter’s tape to stabilize

 – some flat cardboard for those who don’t bring a box (and want to make a simple flat pouch)

You should bring:

 – misc. bits of yarn for weft (this is a great use for all those ends and bits)

 – small sturdy box

 – something to cut notches (I used a serrated steak knife but an X-acto would work)

 – ruler and pen or pencil
